Julianna and Sebastian’s wedding at The Laurel on May 2nd, 2025, was an unforgettable celebration full of love, laughter, and beautiful moments. Despite the rainy weather, the day was filled with warmth, joy, and an undeniable connection between the couple and their loved ones. It was our first time working at The Laurel, and we absolutely loved it—despite the rain, we were able to capture stunning moments inside and outside the venue, making the day truly memorable.
Julianna's mom played an important role, helping her get ready, which made for a beautiful and tender moment before the couple’s first look. Julianna shared an emotional first look with her dad, and it was a moment full of love and gratitude that set the tone for the day.
Sebastian, on the other hand, had his brother and best man by his side to help him prepare for the big moment. Afterward, he and Julianna shared a touching first touch outside the chapel, exchanging a few words and moments before they would say their vows.
The ceremony took place inside the beautiful chapel at The Laurel, where a close friend of the couple officiated, adding a personal and meaningful touch to the day. Julianna and Sebastian exchanged their vows, surrounded by family and friends, in a ceremony filled with emotion and joy.
After the ceremony, we captured family and bridal party photos inside the chapel. These moments were full of love, joy, and laughter, and the warmth inside the venue provided the perfect setting for these timeless memories.
As the rain cleared, we were able to step outside and take advantage of the incredible cloud-filled sky. The contrast of the dramatic clouds against the backdrop of The Laurel created an amazing atmosphere for some truly stunning photos of the couple. Despite the rainy start, the weather turned out to be a beautiful gift, offering us a chance to capture unique shots that perfectly reflected their love and the day’s journey.
Reception and Celebration
As the reception began, the bridal party and couple entered the room to cheers and applause. Their first dance was a breathtaking moment, as they swirled on the dance floor, enveloped in love. The evening continued with delicious food, an incredible cake, heartfelt toasts, and special dances that had everyone in a celebratory mood.
The DJ knew exactly how to keep the party going, and soon the dance floor was filled with guests who couldn’t wait to join in the celebration. From lively dance-offs to touching moments shared by family, the reception was full of energy, joy, and a true sense of community.
