Ami and Mercy’s wedding at Stoney Ridge Villa was a perfect reflection of love, culture, and meaningful connections. We first met them at an open house at their venue, and from that moment, we knew their wedding would be something special. As a Dallas wedding photographer, it’s always exciting to work with couples who have a clear vision—and Ami and Mercy wanted their day to beautifully reflect their different cultures coming together as one.
The day began with the getting ready of both the bride and groom, surrounded by their closest family. Mercy chose to do her own makeup, which added such a personal and empowering touch to her morning. Her mom stayed by her side the entire time, helping her get dressed and sharing quiet, emotional moments that made the day even more meaningful.
One of the most touching parts of the morning was Mercy’s first look with her son—a moment filled with love, pride, and deep connection. These are the moments we love capturing through wedding photography, the ones that truly tell the story behind the day.
The ceremony took place outdoors at Stoney Ridge Villa, surrounded by nature and the people who matter most. It was a deeply emotional ceremony, filled with tears, laughter, and pure happiness.

After the ceremony, we moved into family photos, followed by portraits of the couple and bridal party. One of the best things about Stoney Ridge Villa is the variety of stunning locations it offers. From elegant architecture to natural backdrops, there are endless opportunities for beautiful images—sometimes it even feels like there’s never enough time to capture it all.
Ami and Mercy’s portraits reflected their connection perfectly—romantic, genuine, and full of joy.
Before the reception began, Ami and Mercy shared a quiet, unforgettable moment together. They stepped into their reception space for a private first look of the décor, followed by a romantic dance while a saxophonist played live music just for them.
It was intimate, elegant, and incredibly special—one of those moments that elevates a wedding from beautiful to unforgettable.
The reception kicked off with an unforgettable grand entrance, where Ami and Mercy danced their way in wearing custom sunglasses, setting the tone for a night full of fun and personality.
Later in the evening, Mercy changed into a stunning cocktail dress, ready to fully enjoy the celebration. The dance floor stayed packed all night as friends and family came together to celebrate their love.
What made the night even more special was that it was also Mercy’s mom’s birthday, adding another layer of meaning and joy to the celebration.
To close out the night, Ami and Mercy shared their last dance under the stars in the venue’s courtyard, accompanied by the soft, romantic sound of a saxophone. It was the perfect ending—intimate, emotional, and full of love.
They then made their grand exit down the stairs, surrounded by guests holding glowing light wands, creating a magical and cinematic moment that we were honored to capture as their Dallas wedding photographer.
